The foot and the plate must be obligatorily held solidarized of a hand during all the practice of this installation.

-Preparation of the tapes of un-elastic "tarpal" and unlastic "elastoplaste" plaster for the plate set up.

-Protection of the skin: "Fixomul or Urgomed".

-Protection of the skin: "Mollelast haft", tape of cohesive fixing.

-Tape A consists of two pieces of unelastic plaster (adhesive against adhesive).

-Traction of the internal arch by tape A.

-The tape of before-foot B makes it possible to maintain the metatarsus on the plate. It is stuck in front of the lower face of the plate and starting from its interior edge.
-To pose the foot in varus on the plate, interns foot edged aligned along the internal edge of the plate. To surround the before-foot of the tape B, then to stick tape A under the plate with an axial traction to stretch the internal arch.
-Plate seen of lower part.
-Plate seen of lower part.

-For the installation of the tape B the assembly proposed on the photograph is simple. It is also possible for better centering the foot on the plate to put a starter adhesive against adhesive (as for the tape A).

-The horizontal calcaneum tape C is stuck in its medium, with the top of the large tuberosity of the calcaneum.

-Way of the horizontal calcaneum tape C. To fold back the two ends internal and external towards the anterior edges of the plate.

-Plate seen of lower part.

-The vertical calcaneum tapes D1 and D2 make it possible to lower the calcaneum. To stick in the order C1, D1, C2. To tractor draw and stick the end of D1 under the plate.

-Plate seen of lower part.

-The tape E known as "Spartan". To stick the medium of the tape E under the plate to the balance of the medium of the calcaneum.
-Plate seen of lower part.
-The tape known as "Spartan" E. The internal chief goes up along the foot-neck (dorsal face of the Chopart joint), moves towards outside, passes under the external malleolus, hangs the large tuberosity of the calcaneum, passes under the internal malleolus and folds back himself most vertically possible under the plate.

-The tape E, internal bundle hanging up again the calcaneum.

-The tape E. The external chief goes up along the "foot-neck" (dorsal face of the Chopart joint), moves towards the interior, passes under the internal malleolus, hangs the large tuberosity of the calcaneum, passes under the external malleolus and folds back himself most vertically possible under the plate.

-The tape E, external bundle hanging up again the calcaneum.

-The tape E internal and external bundles, after having hung the calcaneum follows a way more vertical than the tapes C.

-The vertical tape D is doubled, for descending the calcaneum well.

-The tape of completion F in elastic adhesive plaster of 3cm broad. To start by sticking it under the external heel of the plate, to go up on the heel of the foot while moulding with the finger and while drawing without exaggeration, to go down again under the heel interns plate. To make two passage and to finish of a turn on before foot.

-Set up fiished face.

-Set up finished profile.

Alternative. To correct the varus of the calcaneun, a tape Y (made of two pieces adhesive against adhesive) is stuck internal face of the heel at the same time as tape A.

The Y tape passes under the calcaneum, it is stuck on the plate with a valgus traction, after fixing of the tapes A and B.
